Work Readiness Programs

Selected Year 10 and all Year 12 VCAL students took part in the Beacon Foundation Work Readiness Programs “Polish and Perform” on July 31 and August 1st.

Year 10 students enjoyed a day at The Connection, learning skills such as communication, problem solving, first impressions and team work.  Putting their newly learnt skills into practice over lunch with community members from VLINE and mentors from the Lighthouse Project.

Year 12 VCAL students embraced being mentored by VLINE staff gaining tips on resume writing, workplace conflict, team work and career profiling.
