Dear Parents and Carers,

Bunnings BBQ

I would like to thank all the helpers who gave up their time on a cold and wintery Sunday. We managed to raise $1850, which isn’t too bad considering the weather. All proceed will go towards improving the swimming pool area.  As always we are grateful for the ongoing support of Bunnings.

Worth a look

We have  new rack for lost property, it should keep things a lot more organised and easier to access. We were fortunate enough that Mrs Wright’s dad put this together in his spare time, thanks Ron “Jumbo” Baillie. We also have a new whole school photo worth a look at in the same area.

Late or Leaving Early?

If you are running late and arrive after the bell don’t forget to check into the front office for a late slip. Also if your child  needs to leave early please check in with the front office and sign your child out. 

Early Arrivals

We have several parents/carers and their children entering the main building prior to the official opening at 8:50am. This is an important part of the day for teachers as they use this time to prepare, meet with families and other West Beach staff.  Having students and parents in the building can prevent this important work from occurring.

I respectfully ask that parents/carers and children remain outside of the buildings until the doors are opened. Should you urgently need to speak to your child’s teacher before this time please approach the front office staff and they will contact the relevant teacher. The front office is open from 8:00am.
