On Friday 19 July, both Year 9 and 10 students had their Awards Assemblies, where academic awards and attendance awards were handed out. Students who had 100% Attendance got an award.
In Year 9, students with 7, 8, 9 or 10 academic awards were given their awards whereas, in Year 10, the students with 4, 5 or 6, were given their awards.
Everyone else, received their awards in Home Group on Monday 22 July.
Any students who wanted to change their Semester 2 subjects, got the opportunity to do this, last week. Some have now, been put into their new classes.
The Athletics Carnival was held on Tuesday 23 July, where students choose to participate in athletic events such as, High Jump or the 100m Sprint. Students that won their events, will go through to the next round, where they will compete against other schools’ event winners. Congratulations to Everard!
On Wednesday 24 July, the Middle School and VCE 2020 Course Selection Evening was held. This was a very important evening for students and parents to attend, to learn about the subject selection process and to talk to teachers about the subjects on offer for next year.
A reminder, that Subject Selections CLOSE, Monday 5 August.

From Thursday 25 July to Monday 29 July, every Year 9 student will have been involved in a 15 minute interview, in Room 31.
Thank you to parents and guardians who were able to attend the interviews with their son/daughter.
The 2020 Course Selection, will be completed using an Online Course Selection form.. All Year 9 and 10 students will have received their own webcode and instructions, on how to access the Online Course Selection form, via their school email.
A reminder Course Selection CLOSES, Monday 5 August at 3 pm.
Once students have completed their Online Course Selection, they must print it off, have it signed by a parent/guardian and their current Maths teacher, then hand it in to the Middle School Office (Year 8 and 9 students) or Senior School Office (Year 10 and 11 students).
The 2020 Handbooks are available on the school website homepage for students and parents/guardians to refer to.

Excellence in Sport, will also have fitness and skills testing as a part of the selection into this course;
PLEASE NOTE - Students cannot select these subjects on their ONLINE COURSE SELECTION FORM unless they have been notified that their application was successful.
Parents and guardians are asked to please check COMPASS and approve ANY UNEXPLAINED ABSENCES your child may have this year.
It is DEECD (Department of Education and Early Childhood Development) policy that all student absences are accounted for.
