Literacy

We have been focusing on persuasive writing for the last couple of weeks. The students have written a range of persuasive texts and are looking forward to using their techniques to redesign an ad next week.

Below are a few examples demonstrating their persauasive skills.

Maths

This week in maths we started a new unit on shape. The students have been working on their ability to visualise and connect nets to their 3D objects. They will also be working on constructing and drawing buildings and shapes from different perspectives.

Athletics Trials

Today the students were given the opportunity to try out for a variety of events for District Athletics. It was so nice to see everyone over at beauty park, where we noticed a lot of students giving it their best go! We love to see students step out of their comfort zone!
