We need your help - working bee

Our Buildings and Ground sub-committee will be hosting our first school working bee of 2023 next Saturday (18th March).

We aim to have a working bee each term and invite all of our school families to come along. There is always a range of jobs for all different abilities and fitness levels.

We will be focusing on the school grounds and have a huge amount of tidying, weeding, landscaping and mulching to do. We plan to build a compost bay system, fix our garden irrigation system and fix up our raised planter beds at the back of the school. We are going to fix our sandpit play table, clear out storm drains, and prepare our quiet area for a chicken coop and a bee hive.

If there are any parents who can help us to source some heat-treated timber pallets to build our compost bays, please get in touch with Neil.

Working bees are an invaluable way for us to keep our school building and grounds looking great - something that is difficult to do using our government funding alone.

Please put the day in your diary and we will look forward to seeing you there. We will finish the morning with a community sausage sizzle!
