Performing Arts

This week in Performing Arts:

Foundation students have continued learning about instrument families. They have been practising playing a number of different rhythms using different instruments in the percussion family. They played 'Musical Instrument Salad' where they played claves, bells, wood blocks and maracas in time with each other and the beat. 

The Grade One and Two students have been fabulous performers over the past two weeks, working together in groups to create their own rhythmical phrases. They all performed to their classmates and should be congratulated on their efforts to perform to an audience, as well as be a respectful audience member. Fantastic work Grade Ones and Twos.
