Hi, my name is Brianna Lord, and I am your Epping Secondary College Sports Captain for 2023. Personally, I have played netball since a very young age and have competed in VSU Highland Dancing for over 13 years.

Being active has brought me many opportunities ranging from teaching little ones’ the fundamental skills of netball through the Victorian ‘NetSetGo’ program, to representing Australia in France at the ‘Festival Interceltique de Lorient’ in August of this year.

Being active is a passion of mine however, when I am not at school or in the gym, you are likely to find me folding clothing or serving at the registers of Kmart. In 2023, I hope to support the students and wider community of ESC to get those endorphins pumping and live a healthy, active lifestyle.

With Athletics Day right around the corner on Monday the 3rd of April, I encourage all students, regardless of your sporting abilities, to get involved with their house team, put their runners on, and have a great time on the track!

See you then!!

Hi everyone, my name is Batul Ibrahim and I’m your Environment and Sustainability Captain for 2023!

I believe taking care of the environment is crucial to sustain OUR earth, which is being negatively impacted by rising greenhouse gases levels and drastic changes in climate change.

We can do our part by making sure we are recycling properly and reducing our single waste plastics (such as coffee cups). In addition to caring for the environment, I’m passionate about my sport, Judo, which I’ve been playing for 6 years and am going for a black belt soon!

I also enjoy working at my part time job with my co-workers who make the working environment fun for everyone! I look forward to working with everyone to create a more sustainable environment.
