Be Wise - 

Pat Cronin Foundation

On Tuesday the 28th of March the year 9 cohort participated in the Be Wise – Pat Cronin Foundation presentation, where we were educated about the dangers of one punch. 

The presenter Ben explained to us the story of Pat Cronin, a very dedicated and talented football player, who lost his life because of one punch. 

We also got to hear from the perspective of Pat’s family and closest friends and how hard it would be to lose such a beloved person. Then Ben shared his story, which was similar to Pat’s story, but luckily for Ben he was saved. 

At the end of the presentation everyone walked out with more knowledge about the harms of one punch.
