THANK YOU!

Here we are, at the end of another term of remote and flexible learning. I think for most of us this term, especially the last six weeks, has been an incredibly long and tough one, but once again the BPPS community has risen to the challenge. I would like to say THANK YOU to everyone for the role that you have played in getting us to this point.

THANK YOU TO OUR AMAZING STAFF! I would like to express my continued appreciation and gratitude to all of our staff at BPPS for the amazing job that you have done in delivering the remote & flexible and onsite learning program. You have been able to adapt your practice and conditions to ensure that our students have been provided with the very best learning opportunities. You have also worked so hard to support the emotional wellbeing needs of your students and families, while also supporting your own families to stay sane, healthy and happy.

I would like to make special mention of:

Our fabulous Education Support Staff – Anna, Antonella, Liz, Louisa, May and Olga who have worked tirelessly to not only support but deliver the learning program to the children who have attended onsite. You have gone above and beyond what is expected of you.

Litsa, who has done an amazing job supporting families whose children are able to attend onsite, often checking emails at 10pm!

Sus and Randal for the leadership, guidance and support they have given our staff and  families.

BPPS are very lucky to have such a fantastic group of people!

THANK YOU TO OUR REMARKABLE PARENTS AND CARERS! You have done an amazing job helping to deliver the learning program this term. It is no easy task we know and all the BPPS staff are so appreciative and in awe of the time, energy and effort that you have put into supporting the learning of our fantastic students, your fantastic children! I read recently a quote from the Greek Philosopher Epictetus who has supposedly said, “It’s not what happens to you, but how you react to it that matters.” These are certainly testing times, and we appreciate the way you are not only supporting your child/children with their learning whilst continuing to help them try to make sense of a time which is anything but ‘normal’, but for your continued support and understanding of what our teachers and school is doing to provide the very best education we possibly can.

And finally, THANK YOU TO OUR FANTASTIC STUDENTS for persevering with your learning during this time and for the progress that you have made irrespective of the learning environment in which you are working in. You have shown amazing resilience and perseverence. The work you have submitted has given such a wonderful insight into your tenacity, creativity, skills, talents and passion.  Well done, we are all so proud of what you have done and achieved!

Wishing you a safe holiday. Enjoy two weeks of no "remote learning"! See you in Term 4 :)
