Term 3 update
Hello everyone
We hope you are all staying well and safe and not too 'covid-fatigued'. Unfortunately nothing much for us in the recent easing of restrictions so we simply need to soldier on.
We have had a good term so far with online lessons. Our students have continued to learn and grow in not just their musical skills but the weekly lessons have been giving them the much needed connection with their teacher and classmates for those who do group lessons. Separated we may be physically I believe there is the unseen strength, resilience and joy in music that endures. So let's get on with it and keep playing music. That is the best for your sanity!
Some amusing moments during online lessons:-
We are very pleased with the progress of some of our students have shown over the last few weeks. Some of them are gearing up for the AMEB exams end of term ( by video submission it has to be now in view of ongoing movement restrictions). Here is Zoe practising 'Just Jazzin' by Jo Kotchie...
and Anyaa practising "Jamaican Rhumba" - traditional West Indian tune
