Tournament of Minds

On Monday evening, the results were announced for the 2021 Tournament of Minds competition. Team Felix Felicis (Lincoln Bowcher, Jaiden Cherian, Dionisa Gendy, Aurelia Paton, Vinudi Rathnayaka, Karin Rezkalla and Amelia Stanton), led by Ms Kelly Shaw, entered the Language Literature discipline and created a modern interpretation of The Three Musketeers. Their fabulous efforts were acknowledged with an Honours award.

Team 7SOS (Felicity Bacon, Diya Bhengra, Elizabeth Buckley, Brooke Graham, Olivia Harding, Alethea Levy and Quinntesaa Sankar), led by Miss Belinda Siebert, entered the STEM discipline which required them to create coded objects that would be sent into outer space in search of intelligent life. Team 7SOS achieved First Place in the Riverina region and will compete in the State Finals on Sunday, 19 September 2021 via Zoom.

We would like to congratulate both teams for their perseverance, creativity and teamwork throughout the competition, especially given the extra challenge of creating and recording your submission over Google Meets during lockdown.
