Werrington Zone Volleyball

 On Monday 8th February, the open boys’ and girls’ volleyball teams attending the Werrington Zone Gala Day. Both teams came away with a couple of wins and a few students being selected into the Werrington Zone Volleyball Team. Kingswood High School Annual Swimming Carnival 

Monday 15th February, we had our annual swimming carnival, unfortunately due to COVID restrictions we only had year 12 and competitors in attendance. It was a fantastic day with excellent participation from all students, especially the senior boys. Students competed in freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, butterfly and a number of novelty events. Thank you to all students and teachers involved in the day, your efforts are greatly appreciated. 

Year 7-10 Integrated Sport

Integrated sport is off to a great start this year with student participation at an all time high. Students are placed into teams at the beginning of the year and stay with that team all year participating in a round robin with a range of different sports. Students are working hard developing their movement skills and team work skills. Students appear to be enjoying their sports and many are earning both teacher and student player awards which will be collated and handed out at assemblies. Below are the current sports each year groups are participating in: 

Year 7 – End Zone 

Year 8 – T-Ball

Year 9- Touch Football 

Year 10 – Cricket
