Safer Internet Day 2021

On Safer Internet Day 2021 the world came together with a shared vision of making online experiences better for everyone. This year at Kingswood High School we joined in and started the chat’ about internet safety. Each of our year groups participated in an internet safety lesson around social media, being an ‘upstander’ instead of a bystander, and also cyberbullying. This conversation will be continued later in the term to mark the National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence on Friday 19 March 2021.

In September 2020, eSafety looked to explore the online behaviors and experiences of the first generation of Australian teens to be surrounded by digital devices and the internet since the day they were born. Questions for these teens – those aged between 12 and 17 years – were included in an omnibus survey conducted by Omnipoll.
