Diocesan Touch Football 2021

On Tuesday, 2nd March, about forty Kildare students descended upon Jubilee Park for Diocesan Touch Football trials. Students in the Opens age group and our 15s Girl and Boy teams were joined by students from Mater Dei, St Francis, Marian, Xavier and a group from the Canberra/Goulburn diocese.
The Open age group players were divided into teams and asked to perform drills and play short games to showcase their skills. Five of our senior girls and nine of our senior boys were selected to play for the Wagga Diocesan team in the carnival in Nelson’s Bay in late March. Congratulations to those players listed below and thank you to all students who trialled.
The trials for the 15s age group required each school to send a team of players who then played against each other in five twenty-minute games.
