Green Team Captains

BiC Photo Competition
Brentwood submitted photos of our writing instruments collections to the BiC Photo competition. We received a certificate and stationery pack worth $100 for winning this competition.
The recycling stations placed in the library and general staffroom collects old markers, pens, textas each year. The writing instruments are dropped off at the local collection hub run by TerraCycle.
Recycle Right Challenge
Brentwood ended as a runner up in the recent Recycle Right Challenge run by Planet Ark. Brentwood received a copy of the famous 2040 movie DVD and book signed by Damon Gameau and two boxes of recycled paper from Planet Ark.
The Brentwood Green Team ‘Recycle Right’ video was submitted to this challenge.
SCR Old Textiles Bins
The old textiles bins near the staff carpark at Brentwood have earned us $231 for last year’s old clothes collections from our community. Thank you for your donations. Please continue to donate your old clothes to the Brentwood hubs as they help in generating funds for our sustainability projects.
Items that can be dropped off in these bins include clothing, shoes and fashion accessories in clean and wearable condition. SCR also accepts Manchester (linen, pillowcases and doona covers).
Salvos Christmas Appeal
Thank you to our community for your response to the Salvos Christmas Appeal at the end of last year. The Waverley Salvation Army has acknowledged our donations and appreciated our support to the community.
