Roza Mac - Illustrator!

Roza Mac, Year 8, has illustrated the book “Santa’s COVID Christmas 2020” which was recently launched.

In January, Roza was asked by a family friend if she would be interested in doing some drawings for Judy Martin who had written a poem called ‘Santa’s Covid Christmas’.  Roza produced a sample of a Santa, an elf and a reindeer. Her illustrations were amazing, and Judy was delighted when Roza accepted the challenge of illustrating the book.

Roza is 14 years old, grew up locally, and has loved drawing since she was 4 years old.  Her love of drawing has also inspired other family members to draw with her.  She is now in Year 8 and enjoys her classes, as it allows her to experience different ideas and ways of learning. 

"Santa's Covid Christmas" written for children, is a precious memento of 2020, with sales of the book marketed to support charities and not-for-profit groups. Roza has chosen the Ballarat High School Performing Arts Support Group to receive profits from the sale of this book. 

The book will be available to purchase at the General Office for $15.
