RSPCA Vet For A Day

As part of the second year Certificate II in Animals Studies, students are offered the opportunity to experience a day in the life of a Veterinarian at the RSPCA centre in Burwood East.

During the visit last Wednesday, students learnt about Animal First Aid and OH&S consideration when working with animals.

Students also got to experience the specific roles of Veterinarians, have a behind the scenes tour of the veterinarian clinic, learn about animal behaviour, provide enrichment and preventative health care and get involved with hands on learning experiences with the animals at the RSPCA.
