NAPLAN Online - Years 3 & 5

This year, the NAPLAN testing window is Tuesday 11th May to Friday 21st May (Term 2 Weeks 4 & 5).  During this time students in Years 3 and 5 will complete the following online assessments:

1. Writing (paper for Year 3 only)
2. Reading
3. Conventions of language (spelling, grammar and punctuation)
4. Numeracy

I encourage all parents of students in Years 3 and 5 to explore the Public Demonstration Site with your child (click on button below).  Here you will find sample questions for each of the areas assessed.

Last week, Years 3 and 5 participated in the online practice tests.  These ran smoothly without any technical issues, which is great.  The practice also gave students a chance to familiarise themselves with the online platform and the types of questions that may be asked during the official testing period next term.  Schools and parents do not receive individual students results from the Practice Tests.
