Performing Arts Program

What little performers we have at C.S.P.S!  We have created a safe space where students feel free to express their ideas through movement and step out of their comfort zone. Students are super excited and positive during concert rehearsals and are working well in small groups to create a sequence of movements.

Remote Learning:  Concern Practise

A special shout out to all of the students who uploaded videos of themselves dancing.  You all warmed my heart. It was even great to see a few parents getting into the beat! I'll be very busy now filming myself using some of your actions to create mini dance sequences. Thank you for your help!!

Environmental Studies

We’ve been successful with our application for a 2021 Woolworths Junior Landcare Grant for our project to build a wildlife corridor.

During term 2 the senior school students as part of the Environmental Studies program partnered with the Royal Botanic Gardens and Casey City Council, to design and develop a wildlife corridor at the school in an attempt to improve biodiversity and habitats for local native animals. Make sure you have a look at the photos below which show the amazing work the students have done.

We are looking forward to watching our wildlife corridor grow and seeing if we can provide a new habitat for species such as the Southern Brown Bandicoot.

Our school is one of 1,609 primary schools and early learning centres throughout Australia receiving a Woolworths Junior Landcare grant to help grow our next generation of environmental champions.

The grants are being funded with a 10c contribution from each sale of the Woolworths Bag for Good at full price, which was launched in 2018 when Woolworths went single-use plastic bag free.
