Brooke Stratton Visit

Last week, we were delighted to host Australian Olympian and ex-Wantirna College student Brooke Stratton to speak to our Middle Years students.

We heard about her journey to become an elite athlete and the way she overcame injuries and personal challenges to succeed. Her message that ‘if you have the right mind-set, you can achieve your goals' aligns with our College emphasis on striving to achieve and excel.

Students were very impressed when two volunteers rolled out a tape measure to physically demonstrate Brooke's longest jumping distance, 6.8m!

Afterwards, Brooke signed a Wantinra College Sports shirt and generously gave students an opportunity for a photo. Families can show their support by following Brooke on Facebook.
