Thu 24 - Showcase Presentation Evening (6:30pm), including Great Wantirna College Bake-Off
On Wed 9 November, our Food Studies Department were the recipients of a $3000 Coles Knox City 'Supporting your School' Grant towards our Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Programme.
Coles has also offered mentorship and advice, working bees, gardening equipment and plants as part of the launch of their new store. Karen Priest, along with four students attended the Grand Opening of the new Coles Knox City to receive the grant cheque.
Our program encompasses various Food Electives at Year 9 & 10 (Yr 9 Fresh and Fast, Cooking around the World, Bakery Cafe and A Taste of Europe) that showcase our commitment to using fresh seasonal produce from the Kitchen Garden! We wish to thank Coles Knox City for their generous support of our program.

The gallery will be open for students to vote on their favourite works from Monday to Thursday.
Awards will be presented by Special Guests at the Thursday Presentation Evening, which is open to the whole community.

The staff and students of Wantirna College Arts & Technology wish to thank the team at 9 Rounds Wantirna for their generous donation to this year's Art & Technology Showcase. Ron and Louise have kindly donated a $100 voucher for each of our winners in all 7 categories! We are truly grateful.
