Congratulations to the following winners of the October AotM!
Student: Connor Cantwell
Staff: Emily Lewis
All entries can be viewed in the AotM Gallery at the top of the Artisan of the Month channel in the Library Teams page.
Artisan of the Year is currently open. All students and staff are invited to choose their favourite Artisan of the Month entry from 2022. Winners will be announced, applauded and celebrated at the Art and Technology Showcase evening in a couple of weeks, Thu 24 November. See you there!
The Term 4 Resident Writers closes 11pm this Sunday 13 November. Send us the short written pieces you are proud of - essays, stories, poems, lyrics, etc. Email your entries to library@wantirnacollege.vic.edu.au with the subject line 'Resident Writers entry'.
If it is a Family & Friends submission, please mention which student or staff member you are connected to. By submitting you agree to be published to the school community (on Teams, in the College Yearbook, etc) - please let us know if you want to submit but prefer to keep your work anonymous.
English Boost runs every Thursday after school in the Library, until 4.30pm. Staffed by English teachers, English Boost can help students with any aspect of English – from explaining questions to helping give the final polish on essays. Bookings are not required, just come along.
Please encourage your students to check their Library loans. As we head towards the end of the year it is a good time to start tidying up loose ends, including those books taken home for lockdown periods in past years and are still at home on the desk/shelf/under the bed.
Students can check which books they have borrowed by logging into the Library catalogue using their student code, clicking on their name in the top right corner, and dropping down the list to Loans.
