What a fabulous celebration the Year 12 Graduation was on Friday November 11! The joy of the students was heartfelt and the pride of the families and friends was clearly evident.

I would personally like to thank Mr Aaron Lawler for his organisation of the event and our Office Manager Mrs Julie O’Keefe for her tireless efforts in making the evening a success. A number of moving parts and contributions by multiple staff members are needed to make an event such as this so successful, so my thanks go to all that assisted in the organisation, set up and pack up the evening.

The Year 12 cohort are to be congratulated on successfully graduating from six years of High school. A place where they have made strong friendships, grown as individuals, experienced social highs and lows, made mistakes and overcome everything to celebrate their own successes. I have worked closely with this cohort since they commenced in Year 7 and have taught and acted as a Year 12 mentor to a number of them. They are a lively, fun loving and determined group of young people who I have no doubt will succeed in whatever they pursue moving forward. We appreciate the contribution they have made to our community and I have no doubt that their legacy will impact many year groups to come.
