We have incursions, excursions, camps, career workshops and transition into Senior School and of course our Student-Led Middle School Graduation Ceremony, which we hope to have some parent representatives

It's Not Okay to be Away

It is important to make sure that you are attending school every day and being on time. If you are late or leaving for any reason make sure you either:

  1. Have a note from your parents or guardian and give it to the Middle School Office before the start of Period 1
  2. Have your parent submit their approval on Compass
  3. Call the Middle School phone to advise our administration assistance on 9848 4677.

Tips for Keeping On Track

Taking your attendance seriously, making sure you attend every class is important. Attending class regularly will help you keep up with school work and not fall behind which can leave you confused about all the work you need to catch up on. Make sure you:

-          check our lesson plan on Compass

-          reach out to your teacher/s on MS Teams

-          approach your teacher/s before or after class

Uniform

All notes, signed by parent/guardian, for uniform must be written and handed in before Period 1 or a phone call to Middle School administration can be made to 9848 4677.

We’ve noticed that our Year 9 students have grown considerably and require new uniform to be purchased as some items are now outgrown. We understand this takes time and ask for parents to inform Middle School administration with an estimated date as to when we could expect the mater to be resolved.

Jessica Lindner Writing Competition

We invite all Year 7,8 & 9 students to submit a story in Jessica’s legacy. Jessica was a Doncaster Secondary College student who also went to St Gregory Primary School. Jessica sadly passed away this year after a battle with brain cancer. She loved writing and her pet rabbit. To remember Jessie, her brother Daniel is running a writing competition across Years 7,8 & 9. We encourage all students to participate, submitting entries that meet the following criteria:

Criteria:

  • Humorous
  • It can be fiction or non-fiction
  • Care with grammar
  • When reading your story, we should be able to sense the enjoyment you had when you were writing it
  • Very descriptive

Themes:

‘The Best Day in Your Life’

‘My Favourite Pet’

Winners of the competition, in each year level will receive a prize that supports cancer research.

Submit to Daniel’s school email at dllin4@schools.vic.edu.au
