Secondary Sport

Our Year 10 cohort have been loving their social dance sessions and are looking forward to showing off their dance moves to their parents at the Year 10 Celebration Evening later in November. 

The students have been practicing partner dances including the Waltz, various progressive dances and some individual dances such as the Bus stop and Nutbush. 

VIC ALL SCHOOLS TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS

Year 9 national athlete Asher enjoyed a great 2 days over the long weekend at Lakeside pulling off 3 PB's in his 3 events. 

He finished with silver in the discus with a new PB of 48.51, (his Diamond Valley training partner and teammate finished 3rd) straight after running a PB in the 100m Prelims (11.43s).  The following day Asher backed up from his 100m semi-final straight to shot put, where he threw a 14.17m PB to take the bronze medal.

Asher now looks forward to next week and the second weekend of competition where he will compete in javelin and long jump.
