BHS School Council

The Ballarat High School Council is comprised of Department of Education, parent, student and community members.

Council meetings are held 8 times per year. A selection of sub-committees also meet regularly, reporting back to Council and making recommendations for approval/endorsement.

The recent November meeting agenda covered the following items of interest;

• BHS Instructional Model for improving teacher practice and student outcomes
• Indicative 2023 Department of Education funding
• End of Year Activity Program excursions
• Student Dress Code Policy
• Mobile Phone Policy
