House News-Leonis 

It gives me great pleasure to introduce the 2023 House Captains for Leonis. I thank them both for stepping up and taking on this role. I am confident that will be amazing leaders and I am very much looking forward to working with them.

Hello, my name is Tristan Longmuir and I am House Captain for Leonis in 2023. My hopes for this year are to achieve a sense of community and bring the whole House of Leonis together and through this, we hope to finally attain the House Cup for the first time. The reason behind me wanting to become Captain is because I wished to give back to a House which has given me so much, from friends to that sense of community in Year 7 and I wish for all year 7s to experience that same feeling. In 2023 what I look forward to the most is working hard with the Leonis team and achieving victory.

My name is Megan Choppy and I’m one of the Leonis House Captains for 2023. This year I would like to see more participation in sporting events, yard duty and all-round House spirit. I wanted to be House Captain to put myself out there and step out of my comfort zone, and to inspire others to do the same. In 2023 I’m looking forward to working with our team to improve our House's perseverance, determination and cooperation.
