Alphington Farmer's Market on every Sunday is where you can drop off your lids or match them up.
Check out this link for the next Pair Up Collection
REDcycle
REDcycle has always been 100% driven by the public and their community.
At this challenging time, they would like your input and want to know how you use the REDcycle program and what you'd like to see in the future.
Please take this 2 minute survey. Once the survey reaches a certain number of responses, it will cease to be available.
Sustainability Tips
1. Mend and repair your clothes rather than adding to landfill textile waste.
2. Have an appliance that doesn't work? Take it along to a Repair Cafe to have it looked over to be fixed. North Balywn has a Repair Cafe at 2 Centre Way Balwyn North.
3. Make simple Christmas tree decorations using pine cones or other seed pods from the garden. Decorate and glue some ribbon or string to hang on your tree. Make a wreath from Rosemary wrapped around an old wire coat hanger to hang on your door or as a table centre piece.
Hope you have enjoyed the tips provided to you this term for 2022, and we wish you all a lovely Christmas and safe New Year see you in 2023!
