Welcoming our new Principal, Richard

On behalf of the Endeavour College Board, I am delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Richard Baird as Principal of Endeavour College commencing in Term 2, 2023.

Richard is an experienced educator who has held a number of senior leadership roles in Curriculum, Student Wellbeing, Strategic Planning and Pastoral Care. Currently in his third year as Deputy Principal at Good News Lutheran College in Tarniet, Victoria, he has had a significant impact in the delivery of the Philosophy of Teaching and Learning framework. With a strong commitment to the wellbeing of students, Richard was responsible for the implementation of a pastoral care program for Years 9-12 including the introduction of a P-12 Wellbeing approach. He took charge of the strategic pillar of teaching and learning while also contributing to all aspects of the success of the broader strategic plan. Richard combines his leadership skills and his strong Christian-centered values to serve others. Together, they are reflective of our Endeavour Way, and he is looking forward to supporting our mission to prepare students as servant leaders for lifelong learning and active participation in a diverse, global society. Richard, a native of South Australia, and his family look forward to joining a local congregation on their return to Adelaide and

re-exploring the beauty that South Australia offers.

With a passion for building teams, staff culture and an intrinsic understanding of people’s needs, Richard is committed to working with our community to build strong partnerships, seizing opportunities, and improving relationships for the continued success of Endeavour College.

We look forward to welcoming Richard and his his family into the Endeavour College Community soon and will, in due course, share plans for Richard to meet you.
