2023 classes and spaces
Everyone has settled in beautifully to their new class this year, it is great to see students connecting with each other and loving learning. Welcome to the new students and their families. This year we have 22 classes, 17 of which are on the main site. We have created an additional primary class to cater for greater numbers of students, as a result we are using the hall as a stage 5 classroom and called this class 22. On Campus we have 2 Anson Street classes, 2 Tutorial classes and the Orange Suspension Centre.
The new Multi-Purpose Centre on the Campus side will be used for a variety of purposes including assemblies, wet-weather area, after-school and vacation care programs and as an additional teaching space.
The back shed has been finished and is now being used as a storage area for bikes and outdoor games, disability equipment not being used and a separate area for garden equipment.
We have 2 new Work Rooms containing the pottery and woodwork space on the main site and a woodwork space on the campus site.
The Library will be set up in the Trade Training Centre and will be a beautiful, peaceful space overlooking the vineyard. Mrs Liz Edwards will be our librarian, with Mrs Trish Riley, the Library Support Officer.
Mini-Woolies, which will be known as Anson Fresh Food will have a grand opening this term. This will be such a fantastic opportunity for our students and I look forward to seeing the skills the students will learn ordering, stocking and selling the products.
