Year 9 Ecology

Year 9 students have taken a dive into Cheltenham's local microhabitats as they begin their learning of ecosystems and what living and non-living factors are hidden within.

Year 10 Genetics

Who am I? Year 10 students started to answer that question last week as they began their studies of Genetics and Inheritance. Students learnt about the structure of the DNA molecule and constructed both 2D and 3D models.

Year 11 Physics

Does a metal slinky carry waves faster than a plastic slinky? Year 11 set about finding out. Why? Because the speed of light changes as it goes from air to glass, for example, and the speed of waves in a slinky changes too, if the slinky changes. And so, it seems, light behaves like a wave. Enter stage right: the wave model of light.
