As well as taking on this very important role, Trent also teaches English and VCE VM Literature and will be a great asset to the college and community.

Here is a little bit about Trent...

I was born in Melbourne and grew up with a passion for Aussie Rules Football although unfortunately, also into a household that supported St. Kilda. Despite being heartbroken by our Grand Final failure, I remain hopeful to taste glory sometime soon!

In Summer you can find me down on the coast and in Winter investing my time watching, coaching and playing footy. Being half-Italian, food means a lot to me and love how it brings people together. Friends and family mean the world to me, as does my lil' dog, Nicky (Winmar).

I followed the path to become a teacher after some incredibly fun times in High School as a student. As an educator, I wish to help students achieve their best whilst socialising positively with their peers. I taught for 5 years, in Melbourne, before moving to Alice Springs to pursue leadership opportunities. I met some amazing people, learned to embrace and understand Indigenous culture and opened my eyes to the reality we see ourselves in today.

Coming back to work at Cheltenham SC will be a learning experience and I can't wait to make a positive impact with everyone I interact with. See you around!

Stay amazing.

Catch-up Immunisations

Secondary school immunisations are usually provided for students in Year 7 and Year 10.

Due to interruptions to school-based learning in 2020 and 2021, some students who are now in Years 9-12 may need to complete their vaccine program this year to ensure they are protected.

To see if your child is due for any immunisations, check your child’s immunisation history statement on the Australian Immunisation Register using your MyGov account. If your child is over 14 years of age they will need to access their own MyGov account or the Medicare mobile app.

Learn more about school-based vaccinations and why they’re important: www.betterhealth.vic.gov.au/health/healthyliving/immunisation-in-secondary-schools#immunisation-for-secondary-school-students-is-important

If your child missed out on their Year 7 or Year 10 immunisations, Kingston City Council is happy to vaccinate these students during this year’s School Program.

Please complete this consent form online and submit it directly to Kingston Council. We can immunise them on the same day as 2023’s Year 7 students - Wednesday 5th April and Wednesday 18th October.
