Kitchen Garden

This week was our final Kitchen Garden session with our amazing Foundation students.

A very special thank you to Vicki for her incredible adaptability in teaching the cooking sessions of the program without a kitchen.

Vicki has run incredible sessions for our students and their learning about food, food science and growth in cooking skills has been very evident across the four-week Kitchen Garden block.

This week we continued our learning on eggs by discussing how they work as a binding ingredient to bring other ingredients together as seen in making potato fritters. We also continued our discussions on caged versus free range farming.
