Senior School Report
As we draw to the conclusion of 2022, we have reflected on how quickly this year has gone and the many successes we have had in Senior School. We have ensured our students are provided with incredible learning opportunities that challenge, inspire and extend them and have ongoing opportunities to collaborate, problem-solve and create. We have continued to maintain a core focus on peer and social connections and student wellbeing through building resilience, empathy and integrity. In addition, we have extended their knowledge, skills and awareness about pathways beyond secondary school, which is an integral part of being in Senior School.
Our Year 10, 11 and 12 students have been offered learning opportunities within the College and outside in the wider community to extend their skills and contributions in leadership and citizenship. We are proud of our students’ achievements – in learning, in the performing and visual arts, sport and in their relationships with each other, our staff and the broader community.
When speaking to our graduating Year 12 students we became aware of how much our College means to them. The bittersweet feelings are understandable – knowing that they are leaving a place that has provided them with safety, routine, care and growth. However, we are confident that our Year 12 students leave the College with the ability to demonstrate courage, kindness and excellence in whatever their future pathway holds and we wish them all the best and extend a welcome back to the College as a member of our Alumni.
We want to thank our parents for supporting the College and our programs. We highly value the positive relationships we have with our parent community and we are honoured to have your children at the College.
We wish all our students, their families and our staff a safe and peaceful end of year break and we look forward to leading Senior School in 2023.
