Senior School News

Farewell and good luck to our wonderful Year 12 cohort

On the last day of school for our Year 12 students this year (30 October), a celebration picnic was held on the oval. Formal addresses were given by Marianne Lee (Principal), Conor Sheehan (Director of Learning – Senior School) and Sarah Whitebrook and Blair Tink (2020 College Captains). In addition, parents were asked to provide a few words about their child and these messages were read out to the cohort by Michael Harte (Year 12 coordinator) and Stephanie Grant (Year 10 coordinator) while students enjoyed individual gourmet lunchboxes and an ice cream from the ice cream cart, supplied by PFA. The afternoon was captured on video. A video of the  College Captains speeches is attached below. The video of the whole afternoon has been placed on a Compass newsfeed for families to access. Apologies for the sound quality in places – it was quite a windy day.

Her story will also feature in the January edition of the Whitehorse News and will be shared on platforms associated with the Creative Youth Community. Her short story can be heard at the ABC website https://www.abc.net.au/radio/melbourne/programs/takeover-melbourne/
