VCAL Studies

The Year 11 students have made the transition to Secondary 11/12 with enthusiasm, demonstrating a positive and mature approach to their VCAL studies.

The integrated topic, What’s Out There, focusing on identifying recreation and leisure services within our community that students may wish to utilise in their free time has incorporated some fun initial excursions, selected by the students in each class.  Integrating Literacy, Numeracy and Personal Development Skills, each class will now spend time further researching their chosen venue in order to report on and present to the other classes about the venue that they visited. 

STC – Kemizo Family Entertainment Centre, Somerton

SMP – Skaterz, Eltham; also visited various sporting clubs in the Eltham area

SJS – YMCA, Macleod
