We've had a great start to Term 4!!

Students are continuing to develop their understanding of how to blend and segment sounds to make words and recognising sounds within words to increase reading and writing skills, while others have begun focussing on recognising ending sounds in words to increase their ability to sound out words.

Some students will be focussing on expanding their expressive language, in particular using the term 'what like'. They are learning to recognise their own feelings, what it looks and feels like to be happy or sad and how to self regulate. They are also focussing on what things feel, look, smell, sound and taste like to increase their vocabulary.
