WESTERN BULLDOGS LEADERSHIP PROGRAM

Evie Crawford has spent a lot of her time this year involved in the Western Bulldogs Leadership Project. This project allows participants to experience a range of opportunities, which include mentoring and community-based projects.

This year, Evie has worked with a group on creating and publishing a book called “Charlie Beats His Blues”, which focuses on a young pup transitioning from primary school to high school, and how he works through the anxiety he faces throughout this change.

At the 2019 City of Ballarat Youth Awards, Evie was nominated for the Positive Leader Award, and her group won the Group Project Award. The prize they received will allow them to publish more copies of their book.
