Asian Hawkers Market Welcome Event

We couldn't have asked for better weather on Friday 15th for our 2019 welcome event. The sun was shining and there was a lovely breeze. The Asian Hawkers Market theme meant there was plenty of delicious food for dinner that everyone seemed to enjoy a lot. There was a great turn out and it was wonderful to see families from every year level there. Parents, teachers and children loved catching up with each other and making new friends. The children had a ball dancing as the DJ kept them entertained with funky music and great dance challenges. Thanks to the volunteers who helped set up, pack up and sell icy poles. Thank you to everyone who came along and strengthened a great community we have at OPS. 

Easter Raffle - Casual Clothes Day

We will be holding our Easter Raffle again in 2019 as it was such a success last year. 

Thursday 21st March will be a casual clothes day for the students but instead of a gold coin donation, we are asking students to donate an Easter treat (e.g. Easter egg). These donations will be made up into hampers and used as prizes for our raffle. Raffle tickets and further information will be sent home with students on this day. We would love for families to please sell as many tickets as they they can. 

The raffle will be drawn at school assembly on the last day of Term 1, Friday 5th April. 

Second hand Uniform Sale

There will be a Second Hand Uniform Sale on Friday 15th March 3:15pm to 3:45pm.

Cash only, please bring small denominations as limited change will be available. 

If you are able to lend a hand with the second hand uniform sales this year please contact Brodie in the office or speak to the ladies at the stall on this day.
