New Assembly Format

Thank you to the community on your feedback of Assemblies at Mount View P.S. 

This term we have re-structured our assembly schedule and will trial this new approach. The aim is to increase student voice and engagement at year level assemblies and we believe the students will love the new format.

The new format will consist of:

Whole School Assemblies x 3 per term

Celebration of student achievements e.g. awards, successes – e.g. Chess tournament

Celebrate music and sport performances

Share whole school news e.g. art show, production, carnival

School Leaders to share news – clubs, whole school projects

Junior School Assemblies x 2 per term

STAR of the week – each student to share- name and their interest. 

Two classes per year level to present – students to share learning from the classroom.

Senior School Assemblies x 2 per term

Two classes per year level to present – students to share learning from the classroom.

Presentations of individual recognitions e.g. ICAS awards

Share news around the school – School leaders e.g. ICT, Health and Wellbeing, Sports news

We would love to see as many parents attend these assemblies to support our students and celebrate our great school. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
