Change to school uniform days - Week 3 

In Week 3, (week beginning Monday 24/10) students wear their sport uniform

 on Tuesday and Thursday for this week only. 

School of Rock 

Last week, Mrs McInness, Miss Kelly and I attended the School of Rock with 25 St MM's students. I cannot tell you how proud I was of our kids, they were absolutely beautiful for the three days. They were very well rehearsed (thank you Mrs McInness) and just performed so beautifully. They didn't even mind the 2.5hour wait in the line for McDonald's!

Front Gate 

A gentle reminder that the front gate on Clovelly Road needs to remain closed at all times unless opened by the teacher on duty. If you are arriving early to wait for your child for dismissal you are most welcome to wait on the playground, but are asked to close the gate behind you. The teacher on duty will open the gate when duty commences. This is to ensure the safe whereabouts of the students and to monitor who is entering the grounds. Many thanks for your support. 

Uniform Reminders

We appreciate your support in ensuring your child/children are in correct school uniform.

• Girls' and boys' hair is to be tied back if it is longer than the collar.  Hair should be no shorter than a number 2 and there should be no lines. Hair accessories are to match school uniform colours.
• Jewellery is not to be worn (except for a watch). One pair of studs / small sleeper earrings is permitted.
• The wearing of nail polish, makeup and colouring of hair is not allowed.
• Correct shoes and socks are to be worn. Socks are to be above the ankle
• A note is to be sent to the classroom teacher if the correct uniform cannot be worn.

Term 4 Thursday Afternoon Assembly  

In Term 4 Awards Assembly will take place on Thursday afternoons at 2.45pm on the top playground in the even weeks beginning Week 2. The Year 6 students will continue to run the assemblies.
