Principal's Message

Pauline Dinale

Dear St Margaret Mary’s Parents and Carers,

This week we celebrated St Margaret Mary’s Feast day.  St Margaret Mary is the patron Saint of those suffering with polio, those who are devoted to the Sacred Heart, and those who have lost their parents.

Here at Saint Margaret Mary’s we strive to recognise the presence of Christ in each child. As a school community, we value the uniqueness of every individual, where the dignity of each person is respected and the acceptance of the needs of individuals is fostered.

Our Vision: At St Margaret Mary’s Catholic Primary School we continue to:

  • build on strong foundations of our rich and diverse history,
  • grow together as an educating community,
  • enable students to reach new heights,
  • branch out to others to make a positive difference in our world.

Our Mission: St Margaret Mary's Catholic Primary school is a community which is inspired by the life of St Margaret Mary and our Brigidine heritage, we educate according to the values of Justice, Love, Peace, Inclusion and Stewardship.

As a faith community, we strive to make a positive difference in our world.

As a learning community, we promote lifelong learning.

On behalf of our St Margaret Mary’s community, I would like to say a special Thank you to Father Gerard for celebrating the mass with us today and sharing his inspirational words. Our sincere thanks to Mrs Roppolo and Mrs Antaw and our wonderful Year 4 students for preparing and leading our special liturgy today.

St Margaret Mary’s Got Talent

Does StMM have talent? Well the answer to that question is a resounding yes! The children and parents certainly enjoyed the many varied performances. We saw some amazing performances from great pianists, country and western singers, musical instruments, magic shows and the skills of solving a rubik's cube.

We are extremely proud of all of the children who performed. We had 14 spectacular acts to wow our SRC judges. Tensions and anticipation rose as the top 3 in the infants and primary were announced. Congratulations must go to: Zoe S., Elyse, Lucinda, Gabby, Anais, Charlotte, Chelsea, Emily H., Isabel Q., Mila, Paul, Isabel H., Abigail, Luca, Gregory, Luke, Flynn, Anthony P., Antony V., Joshua, Quinn, Lucy and Year 6.

Save The Date
