Geography News

The Year 10 Geography class have been investigating Environmental Change and Management with a specific focus on the Phytophthora Cinnamomi fungus and the impact that the former Jarosite mine has had on the Anglesea hinterland east of Point Addis. A field trip on Friday 14th October allowed students to conduct research in the field and collect data relevant to their research questions and hypothesise. The students conducted an audit of spring flora and the health of grass trees in the area as part of their understanding of the measures in place to safeguard against human traffic.
