Sports News

There have been a number of sporting teams who have done an amazing job at representing our school. One of these was the Intermediate Table Tennis team who finished 2nd at the Barwon/Bellarine Division competition on Thursday 13th October. John Kingma was the coach. Well done to all students who have played in these sporting events, they have demonstrated great sportsmanship.

We also had a group of 10 students selected from year 8 and 9 to represent MFGSC as event staff at Queenscliff Primary School athletics. This is the first time since 2019 that the Aths day has taken place, and the QPS community were extremely grateful for the assistance and enthusiasm MFGSC students offered. They even got involved with some of the events, including the tug of war, sponge race and sprint!

Congratulations to all of our athletics competitors who travelled up to Melbourne to compete at the Western Metropolitan Region Championships at the end of term 3. Results are below and best of luck to our 4 students (highlighted below) who have qualified for the State Finals on Monday 17th October.
