Indonesian News

Indonesian at the zoo.

Our Indonesian classes have been investigating the problems facing Indonesian habitats and their animals and what we can do to help. Students have been raising awareness (and sometimes money) to support their chosen animal – it has been great fun to see what creative solutions they have come up with. We packed ourselves onto a bus, along with Pak Ross, Bu Ramsay (pre-service teacher) and Luke (learning mentor) and headed off to Melbourne Zoo. It was a beautiful spring day and a great way to find out what kind of campaigns the zoo is running to raise awareness about issues like palm oil and habitat destruction.
