Congratulations

Well done again to our very own SPC Spiderman – Dylan Parks (Year 11) who competed last week at the Australian Open National Championships (Bouldering).

Dylan placed second out of the top 50 male climbers. This result has automatically qualified Dylan to compete for the Australian National Team in 2023, including the World Cup Circuit.  Furthermore, Dylan placed second in the Olympic Format which combines the results from both Bouldering and Lead Climbing disciplines.

Congratulations Dylan on being one step closer to your goal to compete at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

Congratulations are also extended to Alex Conti (Year 10) and Mitchell Woods (Year 10) who after representing NSW in Rugby Union in the U16 National Championship winning team, both Alex and Mitchell have been selected in the Australian U16s Development Squad, going into camp on the Gold Coast in mid-December. Selection in this squad will give these two talented players an opportunity to be part of a national camp and allow them to learn more about what is required in becoming our next generation of elite Aussie Rugby players.
