Learning Space 1 Senior: ‘Life and Living!

Last term, the Seniors in Learning Space 1 explored the Integrated Curriculum concept called, ‘Life and Living’. Their Inquiry question was, 'How can I thrive and live life to the fullest?'

During this unit the students engaged in opportunities to discuss physical, social and emotional changes that occur as they grow older. They explored how relationships change and the impact these have on  our personal health and wellbeing. The students investigated sources of information that they could access to support both their emotion and physical well being. They also analysed emotional responses and discussed triggers and warning signs for these.

The students further built their understanding of Human Dignity and the Churches teachings in relation to spiritual, ecological and physical wellbeing. This involved viewing ways in which they could build just and compassionate relationships.

Below is a link to a photo presentation of the Life and Living expo that the students organised at the end of the term to showcase their learning.
