Mercy Prayer
We pray for the Sisters of Mercy, who established our school and for the priests who have served at
St. Mary’s. It is through their vision, determination and strong faith that we enjoy the benefits of a
Catholic Education here in Mooroopna.

Christmas Eve Mass
Congratulations to Joseph La Gamba and Maddison Carrafa who participated in our special Christmas Eve mass for the nativity scene as Mary and Joseph.
Andrew Chinn Concert
On Friday 8th February, Australian religious songwriter and singer, Andrew Chinn, will be visiting our school to share his songs with our children. Andrew’s songs, such as “These Hands”, “Rainbow”, “An African Blessing” and “Rise Up!” are used in classrooms and liturgies around Australia, New Zealand, USA and Canada. Parents/parishioners/friends are warmly invited to be a part of the celebration of faith and fun. There is no charge for adults. The concert will take place in the Marian Centre at 2.15pm. We look forward to seeing you there.
Opening School Mass
Our Opening School Mass will be celebrated in the Marian Centre at 9.30am on Friday 15th February.
This will be our first whole school liturgy and we will welcome our new Prep students with their Buddies.
The children in Grade Six will also be commissioned and receive their Leadership badges.

Sacramental Program
This year we will be celebrating the Sacraments of Reconciliation, First Eucharist and Confirmation.
Confirmation will be for children in Grade Six who have previously made their Reconciliation and Eucharist. This Sacrament will be celebrated on Sunday 15th September at 11.30am by Bishop Leslie Tomlinson.
Children in Grade Three (2019) and any children above Grade Three who have not previously made Reconciliation will be invited to join the Sacramental Program. Reconciliation will take place in Term One. First Eucharist will take place on Sunday 24th November.
CALLING FOR ENROLMENTS - We are currently calling for enrolments for our Reconciliation Program. Families who indicated they have a child to enrol will be sent an enrolment form. If you don't receive a form and would like one, please contact the School Office or Mrs Lee.
