Love Your Sister Special Event

We were so lucky to have Samuel Johnson at school last week to talk with students, staff and parents about his work with 'Love Your Sister'. I know that there were many teachers and parents who were quite moved by Sam's story, and it was amazing to see the amount of coins donated by the parent community for this worthy cause. We are yet to find out the total amount raised, but once we do, we will let you know! Well done to the JSC, and all those involved in organising this fantastic community event.

Parent and Volunteer Afternoon Tea

On Friday 13th of December, we will be hosting an afternoon tea for all of those people who have helped out in and out of the classrooms. RNPS is so grateful for all of the wonderful parent and volunteer helpers who have been part of classroom programs, PMP, Big on Books, acted as class reps, helped with performances, fete committees and a host of other things. If you have offered your time, expertise or help in any way, we would love the opportunity to show our gratitude with afternoon tea at 2pm on the 13th of December in the SMART building.

2019 Carols on the Green - What a performance!

This year’s Carols Night was a tremendous success. It was fantastic community event, one we look forward to all year.  The night is a festive occasion to get together and celebrate as we near the end of the school year.  I’m sure you’d agree, we have some very talented students who absolutely love to put on a performance!  It was great to see parents join in on the singing too! This year’s MCs, Mr Wright and Miss Adkins proved to be a witty comedy duo and did a fantastic job in entertaining our audience.  A performance like that doesn’t happen unless someone can pull it all together, a big thank you must go to Ms Graham.  I’d also like to say a big thank you to past student Jay Hills for helping out on the sound desk, and all the teachers who assisted with the BBQ.
