ECOSYSTEMS

Year 9 students have recently been studying Ecosystems and investigating how abiotic and biotic factors influence organisms.  They have also looked at how an organism's adaptations can assist their survival.

In one practical, the students investigated  how the shape of fish affects their movement through water. The attached photos show the creative shapes that the students experimented with.  They all concluded that thinner, flatter shapes could move through the water more efficiently.
